Feature: May & Halas Vintage 1972 Yearbook: Lava Lite, Timette & Poly-Opticals.

This page is dedicated to some wonderful pages found in a very old vintage 1972 May & Halas Yearbook. There are some lovely vintage Lava Lite adverts, showing: Nordic, Enchantress Decorator, Century, Mediterranean & Enchantress Planter and the psychedelic eerie sensation Kaleidolite. We also see this was the era for beautiful lighting and stunning colours. Thank you to Bohdan & Patti, two lovely lava lamp collectors and friends who made it possible for me to have this for my birthday. I love the flocked velvet touch Enchantress Decorator. This page wouldn't exist without them.

Below: The Magic of Timette. Timette is a name often seen on some of Lava-Simplex's brochures and advertisements. However, Timette was a division Lava-Simplex and produced some very beautiful clocks and elegant timepieces. One of my favourite pieces is Spectrum which can be seen in the advertisement below. It features a time piece but also a hand formed sculpture that glows in a spectrum of ever-changing colour.
