Feature: Extra Gallery Regarding The Savoy & Continental Lava Lite Vintage Lamps.

This page is dedicated to a vintage candle powered Lava Lite known as the: The Savoy/ Continental Lava Lite. These models are particularly special as they are non-electric and cordless. This means you can place them anywhere you want. They were perfect and designed for a wide range of places especially: restaurants, nightclubs, dinner tables and lounges. These lamps are extremely difficult to find and are very rare.

This page is dedicated to a gallery of images taken by my friend Brad in the USA who has wonderful candle powered Savoy/ Continental Lava Lite. These lamps originally used disposable bases filled with a wax candle that powered the Lava Lite. Over time these bases are no longer made so people simply use an elevated tea light in the base. This product was originally released as the Savoy in 1966 by Lava-Simplex-Scribe. As you can see the lamp works well on a sunny day outside and really well inside the home too. It makes it perfect to be used outside and is a great little lamp. Thank you to Craig for his brochure scan and Brad for his images. This page wouldn't exist without their help.
